Separate weekend collisions lead to arrests

Separate collisions in Belleville both led to arrests this past weekend. Belleville Police say a single-vehicle crash in the west end around 4:40 p.m. on Saturday resulted in property damage. The vehicle was determined through investigation to have left the roadway before crashing and a female driver was charged with careless driving. Then after 11 Sunday morning, Belleville Police, Fire and Paramedics responded to a two-vehicle collision on North Park Street near McFee Street. One of the drivers was assessed by Paramedics but not transported to the hospital. One of the vehicles was towed from the scene. As a result...
